VIDEO: KASPERI KAPANEN SCORES GOLDEN GOAL IN 2016 WORLD JUNIORS (FINNISH FEED)

Finnish forward Kasperi Kapanen played hero at the 2016 World Junior Championship, scoring the gold medal winning goal in overtime, and at home in Helsinki. Above is a video of the goal from the Finnish Feed.

Prior to the overtime period Russia had tied the game with a mere 6.9 seconds left in regulation, stunning the Finnish players and the crowd. However, These heroics were more enough  as The Russians failed to score in overtime and Settled for  their second silver medal in two years. The final score read 4-3. making Helsinki, Finland The go-to party destination for at least the next week…

This tournament never fails to have showcase some epic hockey, year in and year out. Congratulations to Team Finland on their second gold medal in three years!

Team Finland deserves full marks for their efforts throughout this tournament. If you asked me, the most consistent team came out on top in 2016.

Finland showcased their tremendous young studs to the entire hockey world in tournament. Leaving, the names of their top talents on the minds of NHL scouts far and wide…
