Torey Krug injured his left ankle on Saturday and will miss at least three weeks as a result. His current ankle injury is apparently unrelated to the fractured ankle that he was working to come back from when training camp began.
Krug suffered a left-ankle injury and will be in a boot for the next three weeks, per Sweeney. Not related to previous injury.

Krug will be re-evaluated after that three week period is over. Krug enjoyed his best season as an NHL pro last year, putting up 59 points from the back-end, (14 G 45 A).
This terrible injury could give Boston fans the opportunity to see what 2017 first-rounder, Urho Vaakanainen can do at the NHL level. At least that’s what I would do. As we speak, reports suggest the kid is being tested on PP1
In any case, Torey Krug is a key piece of the Bruins offensive and will be dearly missed.
