Tomas Tatar scored a pair of goals in a 5-0 win over Philadelphia on Friday in Game 2


Tatar opened the scoring 1:02 into the first period and scored again 1:25 into the second stanza on a Montreal power play. His second marker of the postseason gave the Canadiens a 3-0 lead. Tatar didn’t have a point in five playoff games going into Friday’s contest. Jesperi Kotkaniemi potted two goals as well in the win, while Max Domi collected three assists. Joel Armia had the other goal in the match for Montreal and Victor Mete chipped in with two helpers. Game 3 is scheduled for Sunday night, with the best-of-seven series currently tied at 1-1.
