The Ducks will get the Sabres’ first-round pick (from either San Jose or St. Louis’) and defenseman Brendan Guhle in exchange for Brandon Montour. Montour is signed through the 2019-20 season at just under $3.4 million cap hit and then he will be a restricted free agent. The 24-year-old blueliner has five goals and 25 points in 62 games, logging 22:40 of average ice time per game.
