Subban, Cameron face no punishment after Game 1


Montreal Canadiens defenceman P.K. Subban will not be suspended for his slash on Ottawa Senators rookie forward Mark Stone during Game 1 of their first round series Wednesday night.

Subban was assessed a five minute major penalty and was thrown out of the game in the second period when he gave Stone a two-handed chop to his wrist during a penalty kill.

Stone immediately fell to the ice and went to the dressing room for a short time before returning to action, albeit in noticeable pain.
