Patrice Bergeron hits Bruins milestone

Patrice Bergeron scored a goal and assisted on another in Saturday’s 2-1 overtime win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Bergeron opened the scoring 5:51 into the contest on a Bruins power play. It extended his home point streak to 15 games, becoming just the third player in franchise history to record home point streaks of 15+ games on three different occasions (Bobby Orr and Phil Esposito). The 33-year-old Bergeron then capped off his night by setting up Brad Marchand for the winner. Bergeron has 23 points in his last 20 games, bringing him to 27 goals and 67 points in 56 games this season.
