Matt Murray comes up big for Pens in Game 2

Matt Murray kicked out 37 of 38 shots in Pittsburgh’s 4-1 win against Nashville in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final.

Murray was critical in the first period when the Predators fired a staggering 18 shots on goal and he was only beaten once in that frame. Nashville then out shot Pittsburgh 14-7 in the second frame and again Murray stood tall, setting the Penguins up to claim the victory with a three-goal surge in the third period. Since Murray took over the starting duties during the Eastern Conference Final, the Penguins have won five of six contests.
