Brayden Point was the star of this series for Tampa. Point produced the game-tying goal during the second period. He was held off the scoresheet in just one game against Boston in Round 2 of the postseason. Point collected three goals and four assists in the series.
The Boston Bruins simply did not do enough work at even strength to win the series. Boston only scored 13 total goals in the five games. 6 of those came via the powerplay. The formula was actually easy for the Lightning. Stay out the penalty box and contain the top line of Boston. The result: Another trip to the Eastern Conference final for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
