Kailer Yamamoto records first career 3-point game


Kailer Yamamoto, now has 17 points in 17 games played this season. He was a huge reason for the 4-1 win over the Florida Panthers this afternoon recording a 3-point game for the first time ever in his pro career.

 Adam Larsson scored his first goal in almost a year, and Mikko Koskinen made 33 saves for the Edmonton Oilers in a 4-1 win at BB&T Center on Saturday.

Leon Draisaitl extended his NHL scoring lead with a goal and an assist for the Oilers (31-21-6), who are 11-4-2 in their past 17 games. Draisaitl has 92 points (33 goals, 59 assists) this season.

Edmonton has won two of three games without center Connor McDavid, who’s out with a quad injury. Edmonton was also without forward Zack Kassian, who was serving the first of a seven-game suspension for kicking Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Erik Cernak in a 3-1 loss Thursday
