Jonathan Marchessault extends point streak

Jonathan Marchessault finished with an assist in Wednesday’s 4-1 win at Anaheim to extend his point streak to four games.

Marchessault was one of the most coveted players in the NHL Expansion Draft and he is starting to show why. He has two goals with seven points and a plus-6 rating during his modest four-game point streak. After a big 51-point season with the Florida Panthers in 2016-17, he is actually on pace to do even better in his first year with Vegas. Marchessault is producing at a point-per-game clip, 33-points in 32 games, (12-21).

I have to admit, I was wrong about Marchessault. I thought this guy was going to slow down after last season. The fantasy owners that took the risk are definitely seeing the rewards now.

To be honest, I still can’t believe what this Vegas team is doing…. they are now being considered Stanley Cup contenders!
