According to Elliotte Friedman, trade talks surrounding Erik Karlsson have picked up the last few days.
Friedman believes a Western Conference team is the most likely destination for the talented Swede, with the Vancouver Canucks getting involved in some discussions. The Karlsson saga has dragged on for what feels like forever and it appears the Senators are trying to resolve the issue before training camp opens.
There is a sense today that Erik Karlsson trade talks have picked up in the last few days. Most likely destinations appear to be Western Conference. There is also a belief VAN has stepped in to see if it is a match.

Vancouver certainly has the young assets to get involved Karlsson talks… I just don’t know how smart that would be given the current direction the franchise is going. I would stick with the youth in this case.
