DraftKings NHL Picks: 11/23/15

Daily fantasy sports are all the rage in the industry right now, and I know fantasy hockey participants are always looking for that inside edge. Let’s see if I can help you make some money on this Monday.

DraftKings Daily Fantasy Lineup (11/23/15):

C Nicklas Backstrom – $6,700:  Backstrom has four points in his past three games and has 11 points in 9 career games against Edmonton. Back on October 23 the Washington Capitals won a high-scoring 7-4 affair at Rexall Place.

C Bryan Little –  $5,500:  Little has been remarkably consistent this season, scoring 18 points (9-9) in 21 games. Little seems to enjoy playing Colorado, as he has 19 points in 17 career contests against the Avs. Additionally, the Colorado Avalanche are one of the worst possession teams in the NHL this season.

W Brad Marchand – $5,300: Marchand has scored in three straight games and has developed great chemistry with linemates Patrice Bergeron and Jimmy Hayes.

W T.J. Oshie – $6,100: Oshie gets you cheap exposure to Washington’s top line in what should shape up to be a high-scoring contest against the Oilers.

W Vladimir Tarasenko – $7,900: In my opinion, Tarasenko is the most underpriced superstar in DFS. Not to mention, he has a very favorable match-up against Buffalo tonight.

D Shayne Gostisbehere – $2,700: Gostisbehere has been one of the few bright spots in Philadelphia this season. The kid has become a power-play quarterback because of significant injuries on the Flyers’ blue line, especially Mark Streit. “Ghost” has two points in four NHL games this season.

D Noah Hanifin – $3,200: Hanifin is my “Value Pick” of the day. The rookie defenseman with massive upside seems to be adjusting to the game at the NHL level shift by shift.

G Michael Hutchinson – $6,500: If you are looking for your goalie to see a lot of shots tonight, Hutchinson is your guy. The Winnipeg Jets allow more than 30 shots per game and also lead the league in penalty minutes. The Jets should win this game tonight against Colorado, and Hutchinson should make at least 25 saves along the way. At his price, he is my top tournament tender this evening. Hutchinson will receive the bulk of starts in the next few months as goalie Ondrej Pavelec will be out through at least December with a sprained knee; tonight is his first night as the true number 1 goalie in Winnipeg.

UTIL Tyler Toffoli –  $6,100:  Toffoli already has 10 goals and 8 assists in 20 games this season. Look for Toffoli to add to his point total tonight against Florida.
