Today’s Top NHL DFS Picks for DraftKings
Connor Hellebuyck: Salary: $8,400
Hellebuyck should be the most popular play in the industry this evening, he is one of the most talented young netminder’s in the game. Facing one of the NHL’s basement dwellers, the Buffalo Sabres, (10-21-9). The Sabres rank dead last in goals per game. Hellebuyck’s record is: 21-4-6. A lock to win again tonight.
Jeff Glass: Salary: $7,300 Glass has done enough to keep the Blackhawks afloat while starter Corey Crawford (upper body) has been sidelined, posting a 2-0-1 record while registering a 2.98 GAA and .917 save percentage in three starts. Tonight Glass makes his home debut I will be rooting for this guy, who is a feel-good story. I know it’s a tough matchup against a high-powered Las Vegas team, but I like the narrative at a bargain price.
Sidney Crosby: Salary: $7,000
Crosby has struggled posting only 4 points in his last 10 games. However, tonight, Crosby is in his favorite matchup of all-time against the New York Islanders. In 59 games Crosby has 103 points against New York. That is the most points by a player vs a single opponent since the start of 2005-06.
John Tavares:Salary: $7,300
Sticking with the same game, JT makes an elite play tonight. He has posted 16 points in his last 10 games. These two superstars: Crosby and Tavares should bring out the best in one another tonight.
Kyle Connor: Salary: $5,800
Connor is just simply underpriced for his upside tonight. The Winnipeg Jets have the highest goal total on the slate. And this young phenom is featured on the top line.
Reilly Smith: Salary: $4,800
As I mentioned earlier, the Vegas Golden Knights are a high-powered offense. Smith has definitely played a big role in that. Tonight, I look for him to expose an inexperienced NHL goaltender. Smith has collected 9 points in his last 10.
Jonathan Huberdeau Salary: $6,600
Huberdeau Is a player that could be forgotten tonight. If you pick him you should see low ownership with high upside. He is averaging 3.8 fantasy points per game. Collecting 37 points in 39 games this season.
Brent Burns: Salary: $7,000
Yesterday, Burns posted an assist to go along with eight shots against the Maple Leafs. Tonight, he is in an extremely favorable matchup against the Ottawa Senators who can’t seem to figure anything out this season. Burns is on fire 11 points in 10 games.
Jordan Oesterle: Salary: $3,600
Everybody looks for the salary saver on the slate… I am going with Oesterle here he has points in three straight games, collecting two goals and four points in that time.Oesterle has recorded 17 shots and 10 blocks so he finding ways to get us points for cheap.
Now let’s go build successful lineups!
