Today’s Top NHL DFS Picks for DraftKings

Nathan MacKinnon,  Salary: $7,700

MacKinnon has scored a goal in five straight games to match the longest goal-scoring streak of his career. The goal-scoring streak has matched the franchise record to start a season set by Mats Sundin during the 1992-93 season when the franchise was located in Quebec. Plus, the New York Rangers stink at playing D. Last in the league in just about every defense category.

Sidney Crosby, Salary: $7,200

Crosby has four helpers in four games. I’m calling that Sid will score tonight.

Gabriel Landeskog, Salary: $5,800

Landeskog could be one of the highest owned players on the slate. Colorado is expected to dominate the Rangers tonight. He has (1G 2A) to start the season.

Patrik Laine, Salary: $6,900

Laine’s line will not be going head-to-head with Connor McDavid giving him multiple goal upside

Reilly Smith,  Salary: $5,400

After being one of the most dominant lines in the Vegas Golden Knights’ inaugural season, the top line, and the team in general, has struggled to score. Vegas has just 10 goals in their first 6 games while generating 32.2 shots per game. Buffalo could be the perfect team for a breakout.

Will Butcher, Salary: $3,800

Butcher had a fantastic rookie campaign, posting 44 points in 81 games as he thrived in an offensive role, making 61% of his starts in the offensive zone and posting a team-best 53.23 CF%.

Tyler Myers, Salary: $3,600

Very good value play tonight.

Casey DeSmith, Salary: $7,700

Great salary, shots against, and a likely win.

Devan Dubnyk, Salary: 8,500

In the best spot, Arizona still can’t score.
