A 2-1 win tonight by the Colorado Avalanche over the Tampa Bay Lightning gives them a 4-2 series win.

Colorado lead 2-1 after forty minutes and basically shut down the Lightning in the third period.
Tampa did looked gassed in the third period, after playing so much playoff hockey the last three years, you can understand the fatigue the Bolts experienced. For the Avalanche who went 16-4 in the Playoffs, the Stanley Cup is a most deserving reward. It’s fitting they were the team to finally stop Tampa.
Colorado closed out each of its four series on the road, where it went 9-1 in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
