Tonight, was Carter Hart’s much anticipated first NHL start, getting a fairly easy win without having to do anything spectacular. He becomes the youngest goalie in Flyers history to get a win (20 years, 127 days) and the youngest in the NHL since Carey Price. Hart should be owned in every dynasty league and it wouldn’t be a bad idea to scoop him up in season-long leagues if you are in need of goaltending help. His night ends with a 1-0-0 record, a 2.00 goals-against-average and a .909 save percentage. Hart definitely is also the top goaltending prospect since Mr. Price.
Ghost: “It has been a while since we’ve heard some ‘Let’s go #Flyers’ chants so it’s pretty nice. The kid (Hart) is giving us something right now. He’s giving us some energy, a jolt, something this team desperately needed.”
Has Philadelphia’s savior in goal finally arrived?
