Andre Vasilevskiy sets franchise saves record

Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 54 of 58 shots in Wednesday’s 5-4 overtime win over the Washington Capitals.

Vasilevskiy broke the record with his 49th save of the night, adding five more, with two of them coming in overtime to secure the win. The Russian goaltender seems to be running away with the Vezina trophy. His record improves to 36-8-4 with a 2.29 goals-against-average and a .930 save percentage.
